This section of the site is devoted to informing and educating about the burgeoning organic industry. Organic farmers want to protect the integrity of truly organic food.

It seems that the marketability of the "organic" stamp on essentials such as meat, produce and dairy has lured big players onto the scene, creating a phenomenon referred to as "Big Organics". Many compromises are being made along the road to pseudo-organicism by these mega-stores and oversized farms.

To prevent further slander to the good organic name, the Canadian government needs to create and enforce uniform and stringent standards that are universally applied. That's the 30,000-foot approach. On a smaller scale, we each have the potential to make a positive and lasting impact.
