February 3rd - Heartburn Day
Heartburn Day, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario’s 20th
annual chili cook-off, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Coliseum, featuring
40 local businesses, service clubs and community groups and
celebrity judges. Admission is $1 and children 12 and under are
admitted free; chili tickets for sale on site. All proceeds go
to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
Stop by and taste the Early Years Centre chili at 20th

February 10th - Moonlight and Roses
Annual
fundraiser for Stratford Concert Choir, 8 p.m. at St. John’s
United Church, 175 Waterloo St. S., performances by choristers
and other musicians, along with a number of chances to bid on
great art, food, services and cool stuff, with emcee Paul
Coates. Tickets are $14 prior in advance from any choir member,
by calling 273-1067 or at Blowes Stationery and Office Supplies
or Hallmark Cards at Festival Marketplace. Tickets at the door
are $16 and $5 for children 14 and under. For more information,

Spaghetti Supper
19th Annual Spaghetti Supper, hosted by the Ellice Scout Group.
Where: Sebringville Community Centre.

Stratford Northwestern Secondary School presents a Culinary
Club Dinner: At the Church Restaurant and Belfry. Menu includes
Foie Gras, Coco Bean and Garlic Soup, Hot Terrine of Braised
Oxtail, butter poached lobster, and Tanzania Chocolate Cake.
Where: The Church Restaurant
Cost: $30 dollars per person, reservations
only.
